(2033) Crisis Clinician, Diversion Center (7a – 7p) Diversion Center provides 24/7 access to immediate crisis assessment and intervention services in a facility-based setting. Diversion Center’s primary referral sources are local law enforcement, emergency departments, and other behavioral health first responders. The core components of a crisis continuum are somewhere to call, someone to respond, and a place to go. The Bluebonnet Trails innovative Diversion Center model is highlighted within the “Best Practice in Planning and Implementing Diversion Centers” and “Planning for Diversion: A Texas Diversion Center Workbook” developed by the Texas Behavioral Health and Criminal Justice Technical Assistance Center. Our Vision is Healthy and Fulfilled Lives, and the Diversion Center offers an interdisciplinary team of Behavioral Health Technicians, Bachelors and Masters Level Clinicians, Licensed Clinicians, Registered Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, and Psychiatrists supporting adults in crisis through evaluation and assessment, medication management, safety planning, and care coordination. Our Mission is to continuously improve the health and independence of the persons we serve, and the Diversion Center provides critical access to care to stabilize a crisis while diverting individuals from jail, emergency rooms, and hospitalization. Engages in de-escalation and crisis intervention with empathy Provide person-centered services in alignment with the Center’s mission and values Builds relationships with colleagues, collaborating across programs, seeking and offering input towards shared goals and objectives Provide individual and group services within the residential program Complete all required unit and agency training, maintaining awareness of best practices and program policy and procedure Location

Hourly Salary Range: $25.23 – $38.98 Differential Details $2.00/hr – 2 years previous crisis experience $1.50/hr – 4 years previous crisis experience $1.00/hr – 2 years previous experience at community center in similar role $1.00/hr – 4 years previous experience at community center in similar role $1.00/hr – Master’s Degree in Human Services $1.00/hr – Advanced Licensure $1.00/hr – Ph.D. $0.75 – Bilingual/ASL $0.50 – LCDC Licensure Up to $4.00/hour – BTCS Tenure On-Call per shift (Crisis/Jail Diversion) – $30/day On-Call Hourly Differential (Crisis/Jail Diversion) – $1.75/hr Shift Differentials Evening – $2.00/hr Overnight – $4.00/hr Weekend – $4.00/hr Weekend Overnight – $6.00/hr Join our dynamic and enthusiastic Team dedicated to continuously improving the health and independence of the persons we serve. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a human services field, comprehensive knowledge of mental health diagnoses, ability to work as a team member within a fast-paced, recovery-focused environment is essential to this position. A minimum of two years of case management experience is required. Must have a valid Texas Driver's License and maintain approved drivers status throughout employment. If the degree is not in a human services field, a minimum of 24 college credits in a human services field are required. Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree; pursuing clinical licensure in counseling, behavior analysis, family therapy, social work or a related field. Licensure as a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC). Bilingual in ASL or Spanish preferred; experience in providing concurrent documentation preferred.
