What You’ll Be Doing As a Pediatric SLP at Little Land, you’ll be helping children find their voice—sometimes literally. Your days will be filled with joyful noise, engaging play, and meaningful therapy that makes a difference.
Assessment & Intervention
Perform comprehensive evaluations using standardized assessments to identify speech, language, and communication needs.
Design and deliver individualized treatment plans tailored to each child’s unique goals and personality.
Track progress and modify interventions to keep therapy fun, functional, and effective.
Supervision & Collaboration
Supervise and mentor Speech‑Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) when applicable.
Team up with other therapists, caregivers, and families to ensure therapy goals are reinforced at home and beyond.
Bring your ideas and insights to team meetings and collaborative planning.
Documentation & Compliance
Maintain clear, accurate, and timely notes and documentation in line with company policy and professional standards.
Ensure all practices align with applicable laws and best practice guidelines.
Professional Growth & Quality Assurance
Stay up to date on the latest in pediatric speech‑language pathology and evidence‑based practices.
Participate in team training, continuing education, and quality assurance initiatives.
Help shape a culture of excellence, curiosity, and improvement.

What You Bring To The Table
Master’s degree (or higher) in Speech‑Language Pathology from an accredited program.
Licensed (or license‑eligible) SLP in the state of Texas.
ASHA Certification (CCC‑SLP) preferred but not required.
Experience with pediatrics is a plus—but a passion for helping kids is essential!
Skilled in speech, language, and communication assessment and intervention.
Strong documentation, communication, and time management skills.
Positive, playful, team‑oriented attitude with a growth mindset.
