Immediate need for Night Shift and Day Shift.

Hourly: $40–45 per hour with a $1,000 incentive bonus after six months.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the Wellness Team and coworkers to create and maintain best resident care.

Assist residents with the self‑administration of all medications and treatments.

Do regular rounds of all floors to assure the overall well‑being of residents.

Monitor and report changes in residents’ symptoms or behavior to appropriate team members.

Communicate with coworkers, care managers, physicians and families to best provide care.

Supervise care managers (HHAs) working throughout the building.

Document carefully in resident charts to ensure proper communication.

Become familiar with NYS DOH regulations for licensed assisted‑living residences with certifications for special needs and enhanced care.

Provide assistance and emotional support to residents, their families and coworkers.

Recognize the possible need to work an extended shift during an emergency.

Qualifications

Previous experience in assisted living or nursing home vital.

Familiarity with medication software and equipment.

Ability and desire to connect with residents with dementia.

Strong problem‑solving and critical‑thinking skills.

Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.

Good people skills, patience and compassion to work well with residents, families and coworkers.

Willingness to collaborate with coworkers to discover best methods.

Openness to new methods and training.

Compensation $40–45 per hour. $1,000 incentive bonus after six months.
