PTA Physical Therapist Assistant
Autumn Lake Healthcare at Berkeley Heights is looking for a full‑time PTA Physical Therapist Assistant to provide outstanding and individualized care at our esteemed skilled nursing facility.
You’ll be part of a cohesive group, enjoy thorough continuous development, and have involvement in team decisions.
Responsibilities
Implement care and interventions to improve patients’ mobility.
Treat through exercise, massage, gait and balance training, and other therapeutic interventions.
Provide exercise instruction, demonstrate empathy, and document treatment outcomes.
Enhance patients’ physical abilities and well‑being.
Qualifications
An active state PTA Physical Therapist Assistant license is required.
Unlimited employee referral bonus of up to $1,000 each.
Multiple locations offered, optional PRN coverage; potential full‑time opportunity at additional locations.

Salary $33 – $36 per hour.
Frequently Asked Questions Do you guarantee 40 hours? While we cannot guarantee hours, we typically offer a full caseload. Most facilities are in close proximity, allowing additional hours at nearby locations.
Do you give raises? Staff are eligible for performance reviews, with opportunities for increases.
Why is this position open? Therapists/DORs often leave to pursue other practice specialties. Many stay PRN; we rarely see therapists join a competing SNF.
How does corporate support therapists? Regional Directors and corporate members, many of whom are therapists, provide active support and collaboration to ensure a well‑supported work environment.
