About The Unit
We are the Head and Neck Surgery Clinic at Lemmon Holton Cancer Pavilion. We are made of two specialties – Surgical Services and Cancer Health. We are an outpatient practice that provides all the care coordination and support we can for our patients and caregivers through their cancer health journey. Our clinic is open Monday through Friday, no holidays or weekends! We have an amazing clerical and clinical team that is engaged every day. We are looking for someone to be a partner with us and dependable and hard‑working.
Scope of Work
Under direct general supervision of the registered nurse/provider and following hospital policy and procedure, provide nursing care to patients.
Implement nursing care procedures, evaluate patient progress, and assist in modification of the care plan as necessary.
Provide teaching to patients and their families.
While actual responsibilities and duties may vary depending upon the clinical area assigned, the following are typical duties performed under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse or provider.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)
AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (Required within 90 days)
