Cath Lab/EP Lab RN
– Sentara Virginia Beach is hiring a Registered Nurse to work in the Cardiac Cath Lab or EP Lab.
Up to $15,000 Sign-On Bonus for qualified candidates.

Work Shift: First (Days)
Hours: 7:00am to 5:30am, four ten‑hour shifts per week. Call may be required.
Responsibilities The Registered Nursing (RN) is responsible for performing a competent level of nursing care as demonstrated by the nursing process. The RN will apply the standards of practice—assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, coordination of care, education, and evaluation—and adhere to professional performance standards including ethics, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence‑based practice, quality, evaluation, resource utilization, and environmental health. The RN possesses clinical knowledge and skills required to meet standards in specific clinical areas.
The Cardiac Cath Lab RN will float, monitor, scrub, and support procedures such as diagnostic caths, interventions, CTOs, Afib Watchman device, Impella, intra‑aortic balloon pump (IABP), TAVR heart valve replacement, Mitra clips, left/right heart caths, biopsies, cardioversions, transesophageal echo, loop recorder implants, and more.
Education
Associate’s Degree or Diploma in Registered Nursing (required)
Bachelor of Science Nursing (BSN) or Master of Science Nursing (MSN) – preferred
Certification / Licensure
Virginia RN License, Virginia or Compact/Multi‑State eligible
All Direct Care RNs required to have BLS within 90 days of hire
Critical Care / IMCU ACLS within 1 year of hire
Experience
Registered Nurse with experience in Critical Care, PCU, ER, Cardiac, Stepdown, or Recovery Room
