Alliance Services, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Wausau, Wisconsin.

Job Details
Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
Guaranteed 36 hours per week for 13-week contract assignment
Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
Float to all inpatient units as needed
Can be placed on call during low census periods with 2-hour minimum call back
Must have 1 year strong cardiac experience (Cardiac SDU/Intermediate Cardiac/Cardiac ICU) and 2 years IMC/PCU/Telemetry experience
Experience with Amiodarone, Cardizem, and Nitro drips required
Must have completed at least one travel assignment
1 year recent EPIC charting experience required
Required certifications: Wisconsin RN License, BLS, and ACLS
Must pass EKG test within first week of hire
Work in 44-bed intermediate cardiac stepdown unit with fast-paced, high patient turnover
Care for post-op CABG/valve, thoracotomy, vascular, arrhythmia, CHF, post-procedure cardiac catheterization, pacemaker, defibrillator, and ablation patients
Handle acute chest pain/MI cases and medical/surgical overflow including detox, DKA, COPD exacerbation, and respiratory failure
Typical patient ratio of 1:4
Any color scrubs permitted
Must be outside 50-mile radius of facility
