In this fast‑paced setting, you will provide nutritional assessment of pediatric patients, care plan development, and manage needs across the patient care continuum. You will also provide education and special project support to clinical nutrition staff and the department.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required

Master’s degree preferred

LD, RD, RD‑AP, RDN‑AP, CDCES, CCTD, CEDRD, CHES, CNSC, CSO, CSOWM BC, CSPCC, CSR, CSSD, or IBCLC

4 years experience in the nutrition field

2 years pediatric nutrition experience preferred

Responsibilities

Provide nutritional assessment and ongoing development of appropriate plan of care

Provide staff, patient, and community education

Communicate with other healthcare professionals to integrate nutrition principles that enhance patient outcomes

Participate in, interpret, and use research to enhance clinical practice

Document nutrition care effectively within the medical record

Assume additional responsibilities for clinical program oversight that promote departmental initiatives
