Job Description
Promotes a positive patient experience by demonstrating caring behaviors, maintaining clear communication, and collaborating with the care team to provide safe, timely, and effective whole person care.
Follows CDC isolation guidelines, demonstrates appropriate use of PPE, performs hand hygiene according to policy, and enforces safety regulations.
Ensures the appropriate use and stewardship of medical supplies and equipment to support patient safety and operational efficiency. Other duties as assigned. Administers medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols.
Performs related duties such as IV management in the neonate, lab collection, respiratory care and management, preparing delivery room for infant transition and care, and medication administration.
Provides education and support to parents and family regarding infant care and appropriate bonding.
Qualification Requirements
Associate's of Nursing (Required)
Bachelor's of Nursing
Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) - RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) - EV Accredited Issuing Body
Registered Nurse (RN) - EV Accredited Issuing Body
Pay Range $33.28 - $61.91
