Key Responsibilities Provide critical medical-surgical nursing care for patients in a high-acuity setting, including interpretation of dysrhythmias, management of telemetry and remote monitoring, IV insulin protocols, colostomy care, feeding tube care, central line and PICC line management, chest tube care, and airway management (tracheostomy and nasal cannula). Perform clinical assessments, administer medications, and collaborate with interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
Qualifications
BLS certification required
Registered Nurse with at least one year of experience in medical-surgical or telemetry nursing
Proficient in interpreting dysrhythmias, remote monitoring, IV insulin protocols, colostomy care, feeding tube care, port and peripheral line management, central line draw, PICC line management, chest tube care, tracheostomy care/management, isolation precautions, and use of chest tube/emerson/pleurevac, nasal cannula, oral suctioning
Assignment Details
Pay: $1,864/wk – $2,073/wk
Length: 13‑week assignment
Shift: 3, 12‑hour 19:00 – 07:00
