The Department of Surgery, Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery is seeking outstanding candidates for a clinical faculty position specializing in cardiac surgery. Promoted ranks higher than Assistant Professor are negotiable and contingent upon qualifications. The opportunity exists to quickly build a robust surgical practice.
Minimum Qualifications
MD or DO Degree from an accredited institution.
US Board Certified or US Board Eligible in Cardiothoracic Surgery.
Fellowship trained in Cardiothoracic Surgery.
The ideal candidate will have a commitment to patient-centered care and a collaborative approach to working with multidisciplinary teams. A strong commitment to patient care, teaching and scholarly activity is essential. Additional interest in establishing a growing community practice and developing a collegial referral network for the University of Missouri will be important.
