Responsibilities
Provide primary and family evidence‑based care inclusive of accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning.
Perform administrative duties: opening/closing the clinic, inventory, patient follow‑up, verifying insurance, collecting payment, maintaining a clean environment.
Handle patient appointments and routine examinations to ensure positive health outcomes.
Speak with patients about healthy lifestyle choices, complete diagnostic tests, and coordinate with other healthcare professionals for comprehensive care plans.
Encourage patients to become active participants through health screenings, behavioral health and wellness, and chronic condition management.
Required Qualifications
Two years of medically relevant experience or equivalent.
Education and treatment for pregnancy prevention, STI prevention, and safer sex practices.
Order and administer immunizations and injections (including COVID‑19, influenza, TB, Depo) and provide evidence‑based patient/parent vaccine counseling.
Complete the DOT certification exam within 30 days of employment.
Ability to be proficient in speaking and writing additional languages (e.g., Spanish) depending on the market.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including but not limited to performing CPR and operating an AED.
Pass a FIT test and wear the provided respirator mask when protocol requires.
Preferred Qualifications
Less than 1 year of work experience as a licensed provider with prior student precepting rotation with MinuteClinic (preferred but not required).
Experience with Epic (preferred).
Education
Master's Degree level Family Nurse Practitioner program with current National Board Certification and State of Employment license to practice in the Advanced Practice Nurse role.
Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is $41.85 – $90.13 per hour. The actual base salary will depend on experience, education, geography, and other factors. The position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission, or short‑term incentive program in addition to the base pay.
