3-12 hour shifts per week

Pay Range: $34.90 - $52.35.

New Graduate Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg Unit A. Lexington, NC, United States.

This position is sign‑on bonus eligible and qualifies for a $15,000 sign‑on bonus, provided the candidate meets eligibility requirements! This position is also eligible for a relocation bonus if current residency is outside of the designated distance to facility. Where You Will Work Unit A is a 45‑bed unit providing comprehensive care for adult patients with diverse medical and surgical needs, including those requiring continuous cardiac monitoring. Our team fosters a collaborative, supportive culture focused on patient safety, evidence‑based practice, and compassionate care. What makes Unit A special is our commitment to professional growth and teamwork, paired with advanced telemetry capabilities that allow us to manage complex conditions effectively.

We’re Looking For

Less than one year of RN experience

Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing

Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices

Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

What You’ll Do

As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.

Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

About This Location Lexington Medical Center, part of Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Health, offers world‑class care close to home in Lexington, NC. Our 94‑bed hospital provides advanced services in orthopaedics, general surgery, ENT, stroke, and cancer care. Our outpatient expertise includes digestive health services, a state‑of‑the‑art rehabilitation department, a diagnostic imaging center and wound care center—all supported by the resources of a nationally recognized academic medical center.
