Clinical Therapist - Eating Disorders

What You Will Do
Interview and assess patients, reviewing records from other staff.
Select and implement appropriate therapeutic interventions (individual, group, family, experiential, evidence‑based models).
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, participate in team meetings, reviews and informal discussions.
Ensure compliant medical‑record documentation and timely progress notes.
Coordinate services and community resources, assist patients in accessing them.
Attend departmental and staff meetings and serve on committee roles as required.
Maintain Michigan licensure and stay current with continuing education.
Participate in education and training programs for patients, families, and community groups.
Develop and write behavior‑management and crisis plans, provide supervision and training to interns.
Offer consultation to external professionals, hospitals, organizations, or agencies.
Promote a recovery‑focused, person‑centered environment and uphold the Christian healing ministry.
Participate in clinical safety precautions and crisis situation responses.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Additional Responsibilities (Lotus Department)
Provide direct clinical care and feedback when assisting in the program.
Participate actively in team tasks, communicate clinical changes.
Utilize evidence‑based interventions for residents.
Assist and participate in crisis situations during escalation.
Support a recovery‑focused environment.
Lead during crisis situations with consistent leadership.
Requirements
Current Michigan licensure in an accredited Master’s‑level program in Social Work, Psychology (limited license), or Professional Counseling.
Certification and ongoing training relevant to treatment provided.
Training to work with the age group served and annual age‑specific education.
One to two years of postgraduate clinical experience.
