General Summary

The Occupational Therapist provides medically prescribed occupational therapy services to inpatients and/or outpatients to restore function, prevent disability following injury or disease, and assist the patient in reaching his/her maximum possible level of function to assume a place in society while learning to live within the limits of their disability. The job duties are to provide assessments and treatments in for inpatients/outpatients as assigned. Work frequently requires internal contacts outside the work group to exchange work-related information.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor of Science or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution, with successful completion of two (2) supervised clinical internships with a combined duration of at least six (6) months.

Two (2) or more years experience with occupational therapy preferred, relevant to the settings to which the employee will be assigned.

Occupational Therapist license from the State of Maryland.

Current CPR certification.

Salary Range: Minimum $36.47/hour - Maximum $60.21/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
