Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Speech-Language Pathologist is needed to support students in a school setting located in Overland Park, KS. This role involves working directly with children to assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders while traveling between multiple schools within the district.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct speech and language evaluations to identify student needs
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals
Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes
Provide consultative support to classroom staff as needed
Travel between assigned schools within the area
Qualifications
Degree in Speech-Language Pathology and valid state licensure
Experience working with the pediatric population in educational settings
Strong assessment and intervention skills for communication disorders
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage a travel-based caseload efficiently
Location
Overland Park, KS, with travel required between schools
