Origin Travel Nurses
The Critical Care RN will provide advanced patient care in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU). The role entails caring for patients post open-heart surgery, including those on advanced monitoring platforms. The nurse will demonstrate excellent communication skills, interacting courteously with patients and their families.
Responsibilities
Provide care for patients requiring cardiac critical care. Monitor and manage patients using standard and advanced critical care equipment. Respond to emergencies, including code blue scenarios. Document patient care and progress using Meditech. Assist in procedures such as intubations and CRRT. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Must have cardiac critical care experience. ACLS and BLS certifications are required; CCRN certification is a plus. Ability to care for patients post open heart surgery is essential. Experience with Impella heart pump and CRRT is desirable. Why ARMStaffing?
