Responsibilities
Work in the Birth Center within a hospital setting
Position specializes in Labor and Delivery
Patient population includes laboring and postpartum mothers and newborns
12-hour night shifts are required
Assignment length is 13 weeks
Deliver comprehensive nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients and their newborns
Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary Birth Center team to ensure patient safety and satisfaction
Typical responsibilities include monitoring labor progression, assisting with deliveries, and providing postpartum care
Ensure all documentation and verification requirements are met prior to start
Requirements
Active WA or compact RN license required (pending license considered with proof and application date)
Current nursing certifications required (copies accepted)
Labor & Delivery experience preferred
At least one professional reference from a supervisor or above required for consideration, with a second required prior to start
