Responsible for the delivery of nursing care within the assigned unit scope of practice following organizational policies and procedures, nursing process guidelines, standards of care, and standards of practice.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Assists in performing clinical procedures as directed by the physician/provider.
Collects, records, reports and maintains data.
Assess each assigned patient, evaluate and document their response to care and take appropriate action.
Plan and implement patient care and provide patient teaching using Standard of Care.
Adhere to established principles of aseptic technique and infection control.
Required:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Current State of Michigan Registered Nurse license.
Preferred:
ACLS certification.
