Qualifications
Speech and Language Pathologist Certification (061)
Knowledge of assessment tools for comprehensive speech-language evaluations
Knowledge of instructional and assistive technology related to the needs of students with speech-language disabilities
Responsibilities
Administers, scores, and interprets speech/language assessments for students
Develops and implements individual educational plans to meet student needs, interests, and abilities
Reviews student’s yearly progress and writes progress reports and annual reports
Attends meetings and conferences and participates in staff development activities to promote student professional growth
Uses and interprets data to monitor student progress
Maintains records as required by law
Salary:
According to the Teachers’ contract (2025‑2028) (see website www.westportps.org/employment – personnel contracts)
