Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Physical Therapist to join our team as a PRN (as needed) employee. The successful candidate will provide skilled physical therapy services to our patients, emphasizing a patient-centered approach to care. This is a part-time opportunity that offers flexibility and autonomy in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
Evaluate patients' physical therapy needs and develop individualized treatment plans
Provide one-on-one physical therapy interventions, including but not limited to: exercises, modalities, and other therapeutic techniques
Conduct patient assessments, set goals, and track progress towards achieving those goals
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care
Maintain accurate and thorough patient records
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements
Requirements
Graduate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT or PT)
Possess a valid physical therapy license in the state of Connecticut
Minimum 0 years of experience in physical therapy
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
