Monday–Thursday | 4:00 PM – 11:00 PM (Alternate Friday | 4:00 PM – 10:00 PM)
Monday–Thursday| 2:00 PM - 11:00 PM
Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Position Overview The Behavioral Health Technician in the PHP setting provides direct support, supervision, and therapeutic engagement to adolescent clients during daytime treatment hours. This role focuses on group support, behavior monitoring, skill-building reinforcement, and maintaining a safe, structured milieu throughout the program day.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct supervision and support to adolescent clients during PHP programming
Assist with therapeutic groups, activities, and structured schedules
Maintain a safe, supportive, and recovery-focused environment
Observe, document, and report client behaviors, progress, and incidents accurately
Support clients with daily routines, emotional regulation, and coping skills
Conduct drug screenings in accordance with program protocols
Monitor client attendance, transitions, and engagement throughout the day
Collaborate with therapists, nursing staff, and leadership to support treatment goals
Uphold confidentiality, professional boundaries, and ethical standards
Maintain cleanliness and organization of program areas
Participate in team meetings, trainings, and program development activities
Perform additional duties as needed to support program operations
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum of 6 months of experience in behavioral health (1–2 years preferred)
High school diploma or GED required
Must be at least 18 years of age
Previous experience working with adolescents or in group-based treatment settings preferred
Must pass required background checks
Possess or be eligible for a Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
