Shift: PRN schedule about 16 hrs/week.

Must be in a credited radiology program.

Overview Memorial Hospital Belleville is an acute care hospital offering medical and surgical services plus critical and emergency care, including Children’s at Memorial for pediatric emergency care. The hospital provides patients a full complement of diagnostic and treatment services as well as heart and vascular care. Memorial Hospital Shiloh, a 94‑bed all‑private suite hospital, is also a Magnet status hospital that provides emergency care, labor & delivery, nursery, medical and surgical services plus critical care.

The Cat Scan Department at Memorial Hospital uses the latest technology to provide quality computerized tomography imaging for our inpatients and outpatients.

Preferred Qualifications Under the supervision of a registered technologist, performs imaging procedures to adult and pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders. Must currently be enrolled in an imaging program. Illinois: Following IEMA guidelines.

Responsibilities

Assists the technologist with imaging procedures. Students require direct supervision in surgery.

Escorts or transports patients to and from examination areas and assists technologist with patient transfers to and from imaging tables, and assists patients as needed.

Assists outpatients with completing information necessary to the procedure.

Minimum Requirements

High School Diploma or GED.

No experience required.
