Core Responsibilities Operate and maintain CT scanners, perform patient prep and positioning, and select appropriate protocols.
Administer contrast when indicated and optimize imaging parameters to ensure precise, diagnostic‑quality scans.
Collaborate with radiologists to interpret results, document findings, and communicate concerns that influence patient care.
Participate in dose optimization strategies to minimize exposure while maintaining image quality.
Contribute to quality assurance processes and assist with scheduling and throughput to support department efficiency.
Engage in hands‑on participation in advanced CT techniques, potentially including CT angiography and emerging imaging modalities, with opportunities to expand scope of practice as experience grows.
