Orthopedic Hip and Knee Surgeon Physician Baptist Health Little Rock
Baptist Health Orthopedic Clinic, in conjunction with Baptist Health Medical Center Little Rock, is seeking a fellowship trained hip and knee surgeon to join their group of eight physicians. BHMC-LR is the flagship hospital of an 11‑hospital system throughout Arkansas.
Highlights of the opportunity with this practice include:
Competitive compensation plan with base salary and opportunity for bonuses
General orthopedic call 1:8
Large group of musculoskeletal physicians referring surgical candidates
The immediate metropolitan area offers a patient draw of just under one million.
55 bed, all private orthopedic/spine floor
Program Line Manager and Physician Liaison to help market the physician to over 50 hospital‑owned and managed primary care practices to help build referral patterns
Block time in O.R. for ease of scheduling
Orthopedic Joint Replacement program already in place
Access to multiple robotic platforms
Experienced ortho/spine nursing staff, physical therapy and occupational therapy
Interested candidates should be graduates of an accredited ACGME residency and completed an Orthopedic Hip and Knee Fellowship. This opportunity is an employment agreement with Arkansas Health Group (AHG), a subsidiary of Baptist Health. Compensation includes a base salary, bonus opportunity, and generous benefits. All physician positions are for Board Certified or Board Eligible MDs or DOs. This opportunity does not qualify for a J‑1 visa waiver. All physicians must be able to obtain Arkansas licensure before they begin practicing.
