Starting Wage : $3125-$42.98 per hour, depending on experience
Position Summary The
Registered Dietitian Specialist
provides comprehensive Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) for patients per the Nutrition Care Process (NCP), including: assessing, determining nutritional diagnosis(es), determining intervention(s), and monitoring and evaluating progress and/or outcome(s). May provide nutrition and population health services to patients in an outpatient setting. Working with a team of healthcare professionals, the Registered Dietitian Specialist will lead integration of nutrition, wellness, population health, and behavior change strategies with a goal to improve the health and well-being of a population.
Qualifications and Requirements Education
Bachelor's degree in food and nutrition, dietetics, institutional management, or equivalent is required
CDR: Must have successfully completed Commission on Dietetics Registration accredited internship or a coordinated undergraduate program in dietetics is required
Master's Degree in food and nutrition, dietetics, institutional management, or equivalent, is preferred
Experience
Minimum 1 year of dietetic experience is required
Licensure/Certifications
RD : Must have Registered Dietitian within 30 days of hire
CDE: Certified Diabetes Educator is preferred
LD: Licensed Dietitian is preferred
