Behavioral Health Clinical Supervisor - Posting #25768 Salary Range: $70,000 - $75,000

Position Summary Full‑time Clinical Supervisor position available immediately for our outpatient Behavioral Health Department in Tumwater, WA. Responsibilities include supervising clinical staff, intern supervision, training employees, planning, assigning, and directing work, assisting the Program Manager with hiring and staff evaluations, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving problems, ensuring contract compliance, carrying a small case load of clients to provide direct care, and other duties as needed. This position is currently eligible for a monthly retention incentive for every hour worked in addition to the base pay rate.

Duties and Responsibilities

Participate in interviewing and selecting candidates for employment, training employees, planning, assigning, and directing work/case‑loads for employees; reviewing client charts to ensure compliance with BHO, DBHR, and TJC requirements.

Provide clinical individual and group supervision to all mental health therapists, peer specialists, case managers, and program staff working on the site.

Review and approve the therapists’ clinical documentation in Cerner, as appropriate.

In partnership with the Manager, ensure staff meets their weekly service hours and monthly productivity requirements.

In collaboration with the Manager, ensure QI reports are completed in a timely manner.

Provide clinical supervision of mental health staff as required by WAC and ensure client care is provided according to the WAC, county contracts, TJC, and Sea Mar Policies and Procedures.

Ensure system integration of care (primary care, behavioral health, dental care, and overall health) for all patients.

Special Site Features

Licensed (LMHC, LMFT, LICSW) for two years or more

Completed or enrolled in the Washington State Supervisor Certification CEU course

Productivity expectations are lower for Clinical Supervisor and incentives are earned after meeting weekly minimum productivity of 10 encounters; supplemental incentives are also available.

Cumulative annual increase of 5%

Sea Mar CHC allocates internal EBP trainings annually/biannually – CETA, CBT+, and DBT

Site activities for Tumwater and Yelm are group supervision, monthly all staff group trainings/activities.

Sea Mar CHC uses EPIC for our electronic health record system

Hybrid work schedule available upon managerial approval

Position is administrative (non‑unionized)

Qualifications and or Requirements

Must possess a Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in counseling or social sciences.

Have at least 5 years of clinical practice and management experience.

Must meet the state clinical supervisor requirement.

LMHC, LMFT, LSW, or another related licensure required.

Bilingual English/Spanish also preferred, but not required.
