Conduct detailed laboratory studies in cell-based and gene therapies using cellular and mouse models for neuromuscular diseases such as ALS. Assist with data collection, recording, and report development in a collaborative research environment. Maintain laboratory safety regulations, inventory, and organization, including purchase and upkeep of laboratory supplies. Support laboratory maintenance tasks such as washing glassware, preparing basic solutions, and managing waste. Supervise undergraduate student workers and assist with undergraduate research activities. Qualifications
Requires technical knowledge in the field acquired through apprenticeship, a 2-year degree, or professional certificate. Preferred Bachelor’s degree with laboratory and research knowledge and excellent oral and written communication skills. Additional Information
