Key Responsibilities for COTA:
Communicate with patients, families, and care team
Document care per facility and insurance requirements
Participate in department operations and professional development
Report changes in patient status promptly to supervising therapist
Qualifications for COTA: Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
Current, unencumbered COTA license in Oregon
CPR certification required
Knowledge of Medicare and other payers
Strong communication skills; able to multitask and maintain professionalism
Commitment to resident rights and quality care
Must be able to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English.
