Trackside Support Engineering Technician Location: Santa Clarita, California Pay Range: $33.65/hr – $40.87/hr What's the Job?
Providing mechanical and operational assistance for supplied hardware at racetrack events
Ensuring optimal performance and reliability of powertrain, chassis, and electronic systems
Conducting hardware inspections and implementing necessary changes to maintain system integrity
Supporting customer teams with powertrain operations during race and test events
What's Needed?
At least 5 years of full vehicle technical experience, including maintenance and repair work on automotive or heavy equipment
High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary vocational training or certification in Auto Mechanics, Automotive Technology, or related fields is a plus
Willingness to travel extensively to race and test events
Ability to diagnose complex mechanical issues accurately and efficiently
Strong reading and interpretation skills for technical manuals, circuit diagrams, and blueprints
