The opportunities are endless.**Job Summary:**Lifescape Colorado is seeking an experienced Small Engine Mechanic to join our team! The Small Engine Mechanic is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of small engines and power equipment used in landscaping operations. This includes lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, chainsaws, and other gas- and diesel-powered equipment. The role ensures all equipment is safe, reliable, and operating at peak performance to support daily field operations.**Key Responsibilities:**· Diagnose and repair small engines, including 2-cycle and 4-cycle engines.· Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, filter replacements, spark plug checks, and blade sharpening.· Inspect equipment for wear and damage; recommend repairs or replacements.· Maintain accurate service records and inventory of parts and supplies.· Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations.· Assist with equipment setup and operator training when needed.· Order parts and manage vendor relationships for timely repairs.· Keep the shop organized and tools in good working condition.**Qualifications:**· High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.· Minimum 2 years of experience in small engine repair (landscaping or similar industry preferred).· Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and fuel systems for small engines.· Ability to read and interpret service manuals and schematics.· Proficient in using diagnostic tools and hand/power tools.· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in outdoor conditions as needed**The Perks*** 401(k) plan with company match* Medical insurance* Dental insurance* Vision insurance* FSA/HSA* PerkSpot* Long-Term Disability and Life Insurance* Paid time Off* Tuition Reimbursement (after one year of service)**Pay Transparency**Mariani Enterprises LLC is committed to pay transparency and equity among all employees and provides employees with an environment where pay transparency and dialogue on compensation are allowed.
