Responsibilities
Complete clinical intake assessment for new clients
Determine appropriate level of care recommendations and internal referrals to Emerald services as needed
Maintain complete and accurate client records per regulations
Provides clinical coverage when needed, including but not limited to treatment planning, group and individual counseling
Participates in quality assurance related to the intake and assessment process
Ensure services provided are necessary and evidence-based, and within the ethical and legal scope of practice
Coordinate care with other service providers, as appropriate
Participate in case consultation as indicatedDemonstrates an independent work initiative, sound judgment, diplomacy, tact and professional demeanor.
Excellent verbal, written and/or interpersonal communication skills.
Additionally
Emerald is 100% outpatient - no weekend, holiday or after hour calls
We assist with credentialing through major insurers
Consistent referral stream and call center support to grow your caseload
User friendly EMR with client management, scheduling and billing all in one spot
Eligibility
Licensed Mental Health Counselor – LMHC, LCMHC
Licensed Clinical Social Worker – LCSW, LICSW, CSW
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist - LMFT
Licensed Professional Counselor – LPC, LPCC, LCPC
Licensed Mental Health Professional - LMHP, or
Psychologist (PhD/PsyD) in Kentucky
Previous experience in clinical counseling or social work setting preferred
