Registered Nurse (RN) – Wellness Spa
Location: Rapid City, South Dakota
Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Position Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our wellness spa team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for holistic wellness and willingness to learn about and be trained on all services in the spa including IV therapy, Pulsed Electromagnetic Field (PEMF) therapy, Red Light Therapy, and other wellness modalities. This role involves administering treatments, educating clients on wellness services, and ensuring a serene and safe environment for all clients.
Responsibilities
Client Assessment and Care
Conduct comprehensive health assessments to determine appropriate wellness treatments for clients.
Administer IV therapy, vitamin infusions, and other wellness treatments safely and effectively.
Wellness Modalities
Educate clients on the benefits and proper use of wellness modalities such as PEMF therapy, Red Light Therapy, and other services offered at the spa.
Assist clients in setting up and utilizing these services to enhance their wellness experience.
Client Education and Support
Provide clients with information on post-treatment care and wellness strategies.
Address client inquiries and concerns with professionalism and empathy.
Spa Operations Support
Collaborate with the spa team to maintain a clean, safe, and tranquil environment.
Assist with inventory management, ensuring the availability of necessary supplies and equipment.
Participate in promotional events and community outreach programs to promote spa services.
Documentation and Compliance
Maintain accurate and confidential client records, including health histories and treatment plans.
Ensure all treatments are administered in compliance with spa policies and state regulations.
Qualifications
Current and active RN license in South Dakota.
Current CPR certification.
Proven expertise in IV therapy and infusion administration.
Willingness to learn about and be trained on multiple wellness modalities such as PEMF therapy, red light therapy, and all other wellness modalities at the spa.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities.
Commitment to providing exceptional client care and promoting overall wellness.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Must be able to work Saturdays on a rotating schedule.
