Galaxy Blue and/or White Registered Nurse Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license - Florida or compact state Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience Prior travel nursing experience required BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications (American Heart Association) AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring (required) AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring and EFM certification (preferred) Ability to provide care for high-acuity patients Degree accreditation on profile or 5 years of RN experience required Willingness to float to other units or sister campuses as needed Submit all time-off or schedule requests with application L&D RN Responsibilities
Deliver comprehensive nursing care to laboring mothers and newborns in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting Monitor and assess patients, ensuring safety and comfort throughout labor and delivery Utilize advanced fetal monitoring skills to interpret and respond to patient needs Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to provide exceptional patient care Document all care provided using Epic EMR system Float to other units or campuses as required, functioning as core nursing staff Participate in on-call rotation as scheduled Maintain compliance with hospital policies and procedures Apply now
