The nurse will be responsible for carrying out treatment and supportive care as directed by the Prescriber or Vice President of Operations according to service definition and best practices.# **What You'll Do:*** Assess and document individuals' appropriateness for services, level of functioning, health status, mental status, medical history, medications, and medication compliance.* Educate individuals receiving services about mental illness and substance use disorder, participate in the development of discharge and referral plans.* Ensure that people who need a higher level or different level of care are referred or placed.* Monitor individuals who are receiving services to ensure health and safety.* Carry out functions including crisis intervention, medication administration, assessment of vital signs, referral for emergency medical treatment as necessary, observation of individual response to medication and nursing assessment.* Attend and actively participate in meetings and training as required. Maintain certification in all agency, state and federal training requirements.* Demonstrate knowledge of and comply with all agency policies and procedures, as well as, state and federal statutes and regulations related to specific program areas* Demonstrate knowledge of emergency procedures and assist in crisis situations.* Ensure that physician orders and service definition guidelines for services being provided are followed.* Complete all other relevant responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.* Driving and travel may be required.## # **Education We're Looking For:**Associates: Nursing (Required)# **Certifications We're Looking For:**Registered Nurse (RN) - State Board of Nursing# **Experience We're Looking For:**Experience in a crisis management setting or service during which the individual provided crisis response| 1 Year| RequiredExperience working with children or adults in a behavioral health capacity| 1 Year| Required# **Schedule:**Full & Part time positions available - 12-hour day and night shifts (7am-7pm or 7pm-7am)# **Target Weekly Hours:**0# **Monarch is an Equal Opportunity Employer**Monarch offers opportunities as diverse as the people we support and the communities we serve.
