We are looking for compassionate individuals to support people with disabilities and mental health needs in their homes, helping them achieve personal independence and quality of life.
Department: Supported Community Living | Employment Type: Part Time | Location: Muscatine/Tipton | Workplace Type: Onsite | Compensation: $15.25 - $17.00 / hour
Sign on bonus : $1500 for new staff hired in Washington and Tipton.
Key Responsibilities
Assist individuals to live more independently, supporting goals such as healthy eating, exercising, and enjoyable activities at home.
Help with day-to-day needs (transportation, cleaning, bathing, meal preparation, medical appointments).
Accompany individuals to community activities (shopping, Special Olympics, movies, etc.).
Provide encouragement and coaching to develop daily living skills and healthy habits.
Document support provided during each shift.
Work with a range of needs, including medical, behavioral, and mental health supports.
Requirements
Acceptable driving record preferred.
Passion for helping others; training and classes will be provided.
