Responsibilities
Accurately follow the resident MAR to ensure medications are given according to physician’s orders.
Understand and follow the "Six rights of medication administration" and all Bickford policies and procedures regarding medication management.
Understand and appropriately utilize the eMAR system for medication administration.
Communicate appropriately with clinical leadership for clarification and direction regarding resident medication administration and care.
Provide direct resident care; supervise resident care work of non‑licensed team members and other areas of the branch as appropriate.
Demonstrate Bickford Mission ‘Whatever it Takes’ to all other team members on shift.
Qualifications
Active license as an LPN or registered nurse in good standing.
Willingness to take additional training or education as required by specific states.
CPR and First Aid certifications required.
Ability to handle multiple priorities.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Competent in organizational and time‑management skills.
Demonstrate good judgment, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
Ability to utilize or learn Bickford’s eMAR system to administer medications; learn new applications.
