Utilize instrument tracking system for reports and quality feedback. Maintains competency by attending continuing education seminars and in-services on new equipment and instrumentation. Communicates with vendors to promote compliance with policy and reports non-compliance to leadership. Identifies and reports any environmental concerns to the management team. Assures that the manufacturer instructions for use are closely followed for all equipment and instruments that are reprocessed. Qualifications
High School Grad or Equiv (Required) Certified Flexible Endoscope Reprocessor (CFER) – Accredited Issuing Body Certified Healthcare Leader (CHL) – EV Accredited Issuing Body Certified in Sterile Processing Management (CSPM) – Accredited Issuing Body Certified Instrument Specialist (CIS) – EV Accredited Issuing Body Certified Registered Central Service Tech (CRCST) – EV Accredited Issuing Body Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT) – EV Accredited Issuing Body Certified Surgical Instrument Specialist (CSIS) – Accredited Issuing Body Pay Range
