As a
Dentist Advisor , you will provide
clinical expertise, industry insights, and strategic guidance
to healthcare startups developing
dental innovations, digital health solutions, and patient engagement technologies . Your role will involve working with
founders, investors, and other healthcare professionals
to ensure startups are clinically relevant, scalable, and impactful.
Key Responsibilities
Startup Evaluation: Assess healthcare startups in dental technology, tele-dentistry, oral health solutions, medical devices, and digital health, providing insights as a Dentist on their feasibility, market fit, and clinical impact.
Founder & Investor Engagement: Serve as a strategic advisor to dental entrepreneurs, investors, and healthcare executives, helping them navigate the dental industry and regulatory landscape.
Community & Network Growth: Connect with Dentists, oral health professionals, and healthcare leaders who may be interested in joining our investment network or supporting early‑stage dental startups.
Due Diligence & Market Research: Provide expertise on dental industry trends, emerging technologies, reimbursement challenges, and patient adoption hurdles for potential investments.
Advisory Board Participation: Join investment discussions and offer guidance on portfolio companies requiring dental validation, workflow integration, and clinical backing.
Collaboration with Healthcare Advisors: Work alongside physicians, nurses, and healthcare professionals to ensure investment strategies align with comprehensive patient care models.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Licensed Dentist (DDS or DMD) with clinical or industry experience in private practice, corporate dentistry, dental startups, or digital health.
Passion for dental innovation, venture capital, and entrepreneurship.
Strong understanding of dental workflows, patient engagement, and emerging trends in dentistry.
Ability to critically evaluate startups, assess business models, and identify real‑world clinical challenges in oral healthcare.
Interest in networking with founders, investors, and other healthcare professionals.
Previous experience in healthcare startups, consulting, or advisory roles is a plus but not required.
