Gym Supervisor — Youth Basketball League
We are seeking an energetic and dependable Gym Supervisor to oversee our Youth Basketball League on weekends. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys basketball, working with kids, and creating a positive environment for players, coaches, and families. As the onsite lead, you’ll handle gameday logistics, from setup and organization to refereeing and/or coaching as needed.
Essential Functions
Open and prepare the gym for games (equipment setup, manage digital scoreboard, etc.)
Oversee onsite logistics and keep games running smoothly
Referee, coach, or provide coverage as needed
Serve as the onsite point of contact for parents, players, and coaches
Enforce league rules and ensure a safe, fun environment
Assist with light cleanup after games
Schedule
Saturdays and/or Sundays during the Winter Basketball season (November–February)

Reliable and dependable with a positive, professional attitude
Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
Experience working with children and knowledge of basketball rules preferred
Flexible and willing to step into multiple roles (supervisor, referee, or coach)
Must have reliable transportation
Physical Requirements
Frequent standing, walking, and movement in a gym environment
Occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs. for equipment setup and cleanup
Active role that requires demonstrating basketball skills at times
