Occupational Therapist (OT) / Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA)
At SuperCaliFragilistic Therapy & Allied Servidocious, our purpose is to collaboratively improve our clients' abilities to communicate and participate in everyday life. We are seeking compassionate and caring Occupational Therapists / Certified Occupational Therapist Assistants (COTAs) to join our SUPER team on a session by session basis. You create your own caseload and hours! As an Occupational Therapist or COTA with Supercalifragilistic, you will treat clients with fine motor and sensory needs in a fun, individualized and creative manner! This position is based in clients' homes in Boston, MA and Greater Boston. You will have the opportunity to work closely with clients and their families in their homes to improve their communication skills and enhance their functional skills. The ideal candidate has a compassionate style of care, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and is comfortable handling multiple different cases at a time.
Responsibilities
Provide therapy sessions to clients to improve their skills
Collaborate with other allied health professionals in a caring and collaborative manner
Educate clients and their families on therapy techniques and strategies for continued improvement
Maintain accurate and up-to-date client data and progress
Qualifications
Must hold the required Massachusetts state license for occupational therapy/COTA
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational skills
The ability to stay positive and compassionate with patients
Compensation $40.00 - $75.00 per hour
Location Clients' homes in Boston, MA and Greater Boston (also Connecticut Shoreline)
