Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Certified Midwife to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem. Harlem Hospital is the largest hospital in Central Harlem and the only Safety Net Hospital in Northern Manhattan. It is recognized for centers of excellence in Bariatric Surgery, Breast Imaging, and Sexual Assault Forensics, and continues to provide outstanding care to all New Yorkers.
The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons to uphold high healthcare delivery standards.

Inpatient and outpatient responsibilities
FHRT readings
Direct clinical care to mothers and babies
Care for underserved, high‑risk patients
Full Time – 40 hours per week
Qualifications
American Midwifery Board Certification
BLS and NRP Certification required
At least 5 years’ experience
Experience in Centering Pregnancy Programs, required
Wages and Benefits Annual Base Salary:
$131,127* – $174,836* based on a 40‑hour work week and years of state licensure.
Estimated total compensation value:
$144,239** – $192,319** (including baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, and other factors).
401(k) Company Contribution:
Immediately vested in a 3% contribution of base earnings (no employee match).
After one year of service, an additional 7% contribution of base earnings (no employee match).
Generous Annual Paid Time Off (PTO): Vacation, Sick, Holiday, and CME days.
