About Us Merrimack Autism Consultants is a privately owned organization founded in 2017 that offers individualized home‑based services to clients on the autism spectrum. We are dedicated to providing family centered ABA services using evidenced‑based Applied Behavioral Analysis methods, interventions and assessments. Behavior Therapist Position Merrimack Autism Consultants is currently hiring part‑time Behavior Therapists (BT) to provide 1:1 in‑home ABA services. In‑home sessions are typically held between 2:30 pm and 8:30 pm; some morning and weekend sessions may also be available. Applicants must be available to work an average minimum of 10–19 hours per week. Rate of pay will commensurate based on level of education and years of experience.
Behavior Therapist Responsibilities
Work 1:1 directly with clients with autism using individualized ABA techniques created by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
Provide support and guidance for the parent/caregiver implementing the behavior plan tactics when the BT/BCBA are not in the home.
Collect data focused on skills and behaviors, conduct discrete trials daily to ensure the client's progress is monitored and objectives are met according to the individualized plan.
Communicate in a timely manner any concerns, progress, etc. to both the client's family and supervisor.
Complete the 40‑hour Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) training, sit for and pass the RBT exam, within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications
High school diploma or GED equivalent and at least one year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
Age 18 or older and reliable, consistent transportation.
Pass a background check and authorized to work within the U.S.
Make a 6‑month commitment to our clients.
Enthusiastic and passionate about working with children/adolescents with autism and other developmental disabilities, driven to help make a difference.
CPR certified (will allow a 2‑week timeline after hire to obtain).
Preferred Qualifications
Associate's Degree in Human Services, Education or Psychology; Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Behavior Analysis or Social Psychology.
Registered Behavior Technician with an active certification with the BACB and/or at least 6 months working with children with autism.
Previous professional experience working in the human services, developmental disabilities or education fields—teachers/paraprofessional, day programs, group home caretakers.
Part‑time position, salary varies on experience.
Salary: $19–$25 per hour.
