Pediatric Clinical Psychologist

About the Division The Division of Pediatric Psychiatry and Psychology is seeking a pediatric psychologist with interest and expertise in Behavioral Sleep Medicine. The selected candidate will work collaboratively in our AASM accredited sleep center, which currently includes two physicians board certified in sleep medicine, two psychologists, an advanced practice medical provider, three nurses, and respiratory technologists. The psychologist will see referrals from within Sleep Medicine and other ACH specialties to assess and treat behavioral sleep concerns such as insomnia, nightmare disorders, nighttime fears, circadian rhythm disorders, parasomnias, and sleep quality issues (e.g., compliance for treatment of sleep apnea, restless leg syndrome).
Professional Opportunities In addition to direct clinical work, opportunities exist for program development, quality improvement initiatives, clinical outcomes research, and training of pediatric psychology trainees (practicum students, fellows), pediatric residents, and pediatric fellows training in developmental behavioral pediatrics and child psychiatry.
Qualifications Doctorate degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in clinical psychology (child or pediatric emphasis preferred) from an APA‑accredited doctoral program, completion of an APA‑accredited internship (child or pediatric emphasis preferred), license eligibility in the State of Ohio, and a strong interest in evidence‑based pediatric psychology. Preference is given to candidates with experience in Behavioral Sleep Medicine and completion of a post‑doctoral fellowship in pediatric psychology.
