We are searching for a talented Pharmacy Tech-Oncology

Hours: 24hrs

Shift: Day shift, 7:00am - 5:00pm

Location: Oncology - Fairhaven, MA; Required to work at both the Fall River and the Fairhaven sites on a weekly basis and as needed.

**Available to regular status employees who are scheduled to work a minimum of 24 hours.

Responsibilities Under the direction of the Manager, Pharmacy Oncology or Designee and direct supervision of the Pharmacist, perform a wide variety of duties involving responsibility in preparing products using aseptic techniques and batching medications following USP797/800 guidelines as well as performing all cleaning per guidelines. Other duties include the purchasing of supplies and medications generating automated dispensing machine (ADM) reports with appropriate follow‑up.

Qualifications

High School graduate or the equivalent is required.

Additional clinical course work or training is preferred. Massachusetts state registration as a Pharmacy Technician is required.

Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) Certification is required within 18 months of hire.

One year of related work experience is required; three years is preferred.

Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID‑19 virus or be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.

Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.
