SAP Plant Maintenance Specialist
based in
Columbia, SC.
The SAP Plant Maintenance Specialist is responsible for managing, optimizing, and enhancing the SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) module to support efficient plant operations. This role involves collaborating with technical and operational teams, providing user support, and implementing solutions that streamline maintenance processes and improve equipment reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
Configure and customize the SAP PM module to meet business and operational requirements.
Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and IT teams to ensure seamless system integration.
Deliver user training and ongoing support for SAP PM functionalities to operators, technicians, and leadership teams.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve SAP PM system issues promptly to minimize downtime.
Schedule and coordinate preventive maintenance activities for the maintenance team.
Analyze maintenance data and provide actionable insights to enhance equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and best practices.
Participate in system upgrades, testing, and implementation projects.
Support TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) deployment plans aligned with organizational goals.
Facilitate TPM pillar activities, including Autonomous Maintenance, Planned Maintenance, and Focused Improvement.
Coach cross-functional teams on TPM principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
Establish and drive KPI improvements for TPM initiatives (OEE, MTBF, MTTR, downtime reduction).
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
3–5 years of experience with SAP Plant Maintenance.
Strong understanding of plant maintenance processes and SAP PM functionalities.
Hands‑on experience in SAP configuration and customization.
Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
Strong communication and training capabilities.
Core Skills:
SAP PM module configuration and optimization.
Business process analysis and improvement.
System troubleshooting and issue resolution.
User training and support.
Documentation and compliance.
Project management and implementation.
