$42.00/hr - $55.00/hr Role Overview
A Speech Therapist evaluates, diagnoses, and treats individuals with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders. They work with patients of all ages to improve communication and feeding abilities, often collaborating with other healthcare professionals. Key Responsibilities
Conduct assessments of speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing abilities Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Provide therapy sessions to improve articulation, fluency, voice, and language comprehension Address feeding and swallowing difficulties through targeted interventions Educate patients and caregivers on therapy techniques and progress Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, and patient progress Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, educators, and occupational therapists
Skills & Qualifications
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology State licensure and certification (e.g., CCC-SLP from ASHA) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work with diverse age groups and conditions Compassionate and patient-centered approach Seniority level
