Jobs in this role are responsible for performing diagnostic and therapeutic imaging procedures to support patient care, clinical research, and medical education. These positions utilize advanced imaging technologies—such as X‑rays, MRI, CT scans, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, and interventional radiology—to produce high‑quality images that aid in the diagnosis, monitoring, and treatment of medical conditions. The focus of this position is on using ultrasound technology to produce images of internal structures for diagnosis and monitoring of various medical conditions.

Responsibilities

Perform ultrasound imaging procedures and produce diagnostic images.

Interpret images to diagnose and monitor medical conditions.

Provide face‑to‑face interaction with patients.

Assist in designing and implementing clinical programs and policies using specialized knowledge.

Communicate findings clearly and accurately.

Minimum Requirements Education:

Must meet the education requirement for diagnostic medical ultrasound or echocardiography ultrasound certification with either CCI or ARDMS; Associate’s degree preferred.

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience required.

License/Certification:

Registered Vascular Technologist certification required within 12 months of hire. ARDMS or ARRT (S) certification required. American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required.

Physical Demands Job requires standing for prolonged periods, frequently bending/stooping, reaching (overhead, extensive, repetitive); repetitive motion (computer keyboard). Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; attention to detail; ability to write legibly; ability to lift/push/pull 50–100 lbs. May be exposed to cold, dust, noise, radiation, blood/body fluids and infectious disease.

Position Compensation Range: $31.98–$51.17 Hourly.
