Position Overview Job Title: Career Pathway Manager Location: Rochester, NY, 14624 Department: Learning & Development Reports To: Director, Learning & Development Employment Type: Full-Time, Exempt Starting Wage: $72,000-$80,000.

Core Responsibilities

Develop and implement new apprenticeship and scholarship programs in collaboration with internal teams.

Create and present career pathway strategies to meet organizational and participant needs.

Serve as the primary liaison with state oversight, foundations, and external funders to ensure compliance and maintain required documentation.

Lead recruitment, assessment, development, and retention efforts throughout the apprentice and scholarship lifecycle.

Collect, analyze, and report participant data; track milestones; and ensure program outcomes.

Identify opportunities for innovation and expansion of career pathway programs; support grant proposal writing and outcome reporting.

Oversee the upload and monitoring of Apprentice Learning & Development plans in Cornerstone.

Establish and maintain relationships with higher education partners; represent Lifetime Assistance as an ambassador of the program.

Uphold agency policies, procedures, and professional standards.

Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required.

Experience in apprenticeships, coaching, and mentoring required.

Experience in I/DD (intellectual/developmental disabilities) direct services preferred.

Strong ability to write reports, collect and analyze data, and manage complex projects.

Professional written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to present information effectively to diverse audiences.

Demonstrated problem‑solving skills — gather facts, draw conclusions, recommend solutions.
