Overview We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Staff Pharmacist to join our compounding pharmacy team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care, ensuring the safe and effective use of medications, and supporting our commitment to high-quality healthcare services. This position requires expertise in pharmacy practice.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care to patients, ensuring optimal medication management and safety.
Conduct thorough patient assessments to evaluate medication needs and potential interactions.
Administer medications accurately while adhering to HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals.
Utilize pharmacy software for prescription processing, inventory management, and patient records.
Educate patients on medication usage, side effects, and health management strategies.
Stay updated on advancements in compounding pharmacy.
Experience
A Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.), Registered Pharmacist in Ohio.
Previous experience in a community, hospital, or long-term care pharmacy setting is preferred.
Strong knowledge of pharmacology, medication administration protocols, and patient care standards.
Familiarity with pharmacy software systems for efficient workflow management.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical standards in pharmacy practice.
